Dalya Moumina is a talented artist who creates stunning oil paintings that capture the essence of nature's magnificent authority and the transformation of different landscapes. Dalya finds inspiration in the extreme landscapes of her childhood, which she experienced growing up in the Middle East and the Philippines. She uses light and a playful approach to make her landscapes surreal and transcendental. Dalya holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing her Master's degree at Columbia University. In 2023, she completed a summer residency at the School of Visual Arts. Dalya's works take us on a journey of temporary consciousness, captivating us with the mesmerizing allure of her fictional world. She seamlessly blends interior and exterior landscapes using a medley of techniques, from collage and drawing to oil painting. Hills and rivers are visible in her work, and their undulating forms provide a sense of rhythm and transition.
