Dual Simplicity

Sirak Melkonian, Shahla Hosseini, Mohammad Hossein Emad, Mojé Assefjah

Dual Simplicity brings together the works of Sirak Melkonian, Shahla Hosseini, Mohammad Hossein Emad, and Mojé Assefjah four artists whose practices converge through a shared language of reduction, balance, and quiet intensity.

Working across painting and sculpture, each artist distills form to its essence, allowing material, space, and gesture to speak with clarity. From Melkonian’s structured abstractions to Assefjah’s atmospheric surfaces, Hosseini’s tactile compositions, and Emad’s dialogue between mass and void, the exhibition reveals a subtle interplay between simplicity and depth.

Rather than reducing meaning, Dual Simplicity shows how restraint can become a powerful form of expression where complexity is refined into something contemplative and enduring.
